Soccer Lapbook ~ Stationary Pack

I really have the “lapbook” bug. One of my girls birthdays was in October,  so I made her a Soccer theme lapbook. I orginally was planning on creating an activity lapbook, but after having trouble finding spanish soccer information, I changed it into a soccer themed Stationary lapbook for her.

I printed soccer balls and cut them out to put around the inside, and front.  The back I covered with a piece of scrapebook paper, and the outside of the folder is wrapped in a poster border, that I got from teacher supplies.  I created the Honduras soccer logo to put on the front. I used the soccer ball stationary to create a label for the front with Sharon’s name and information. I added a few Cross stickers.  I laminated the lapbook to keep it safe.

Outside

I enclosed some note sheets in the shape of a pencil. I enclosed soccer themed stationary, coloring pages, stickers, and FIFA soccer infomation in spanish (www.fifa.com) that I got from their website.  I enclosed some blank cards and envelopes for her to send notes to friends.  I created two bookmark with soccer balls, similar to the stationary with her name and information, and printed soccer balls for the back of the bookmark.  They were two different sizes.

I printed bible verses inside a few blank cards for Sharon to give to friends, for encouragement.

I also bought some “Happy Birthday” sheets that teachers use for their students (12 for $.88) and filled one out and put on the top of the lapbook with a letter on soccer stationary.

This lapbook could easily be used for boys or girls, just print out coloring sheets of boys instead of girls.

The most important part of this lapbook is the letter that will go with it, to reminder her that God loves her, and that He is aways there for her. He loves her so much that he sent Compassion and her sponsor into her life.  If you do not currently have a sponsor child, please take a moment to stop by Compassion and look at the children needing sponsors.  They will change your life forever, and help you appreciate all that you have and all that you can give, expecially spirital encouragement to a child living in poverty.
