Waves of the Sea – June 2021

June in the United States is the beginning of Summer, and lots of fun on the lakes. The first block for June 2021 is a great reminder of these fun days, Waves of the Sea, it was originally released in the Kansas City Star on March 06, 1937. This block has 28 – 2″ unfinished Half Square Triangles (HST), and 4 1/2″ unfinished Half Square Triangles (HST).

If you like Half Square Triangles (HST) this is the block for you.  There are 28 small HST and 4 large HST.  You could do this block scrappy by using different colors for each quarter section, or mix-max the fabrics.  This block would look great with the Storm at Sea Block. (see picture at end of instructions.)
